Laser Genesis

Laser Genesis is a no-downtime treatment for diffuse redness, enlarged pores, and early signs of ageing. It works by gently heating the upper dermis over a series of comfortable sessions, with results that build cumulatively over time.

Diffuse redness, flushing, and early fine lines share a common driver: the gradual deterioration of the structures just beneath the skin surface. Capillaries become chronically dilated, collagen production slows, and the skin's ability to regulate itself weakens over time. These changes accumulate quietly and are often dismissed as just how someone's skin looks.

Laser Genesis works by delivering gentle heat into the upper dermis without disturbing the skin surface at all. The heat stimulates new collagen production and generates additional warmth in dilated capillaries, causing them to constrict over time. Because the treatment is non-ablative, there is no wound to heal and no surface disruption. Results build gradually with each session, which is why it is typically used as a series rather than a single treatment.

At-home care:

• SPF 30 or higher daily. Sun exposure drives the redness and collagen loss this treatment works to address.
• Gentle, barrier-supporting moisturiser to maintain skin health between sessions
• Avoid heat, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours after each session

Before treatment:

• Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 2 weeks before treatment
• Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup and skincare products
• If you are managing rosacea with prescription products, let your provider know before treatment

During treatment

No numbing cream is required. The laser handpiece is held just above the skin and moved continuously across the treatment area. Most patients find the session warm and relaxing, with a gentle heat sensation throughout. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes.

After treatment

You can go straight back to your day. Some patients notice a mild warmth or light pinkness immediately after treatment, which typically settles within a few hours. There is no peeling, no crusting, and no visible healing phase.
