Bela MD Facial

Everything your skin needs, in one visit.

APR 20 2026

Overview

A multi-step medical facial that exfoliates, extracts, hydrates, and infuses your skin with active ingredients in a single session. No needles, no recovery time, and results you can see before you leave the clinic.

What's going on beneath the skin

Most people's skincare routines are doing less than they think. Not because the products are bad, but because dead cells accumulate on the surface, pores fill with sebum and debris, and the active ingredients you apply stay largely at the surface rather than reaching the layers where they can actually do something.

Bela MD is built around solving that problem. It starts with medical-grade dermabrasion to clear the surface. Then hydrogen-infused water reduces inflammation and boosts hydration at the cellular level. Finally, custom serums are driven deeper into the skin using a gentle electrical field, reaching layers that topical application alone cannot access. The result is skin that looks better on the day and absorbs your home skincare more effectively afterwards.

Daily & Ongoing Care

At-home care:

  • SPF 30 or higher daily. Your skin is more photosensitive in the days after treatment.
  • Keep it simple with a gentle, hydrating moisturiser for the first 48 hours
  • Avoid saunas, steam, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours
  • Hold off on retinoids and exfoliating acids for 48 hours post-treatment

Before treatment:

  • Stop retinoids and acids 3 to 5 days before your appointment
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 2 weeks before
  • No injectables in the treatment area for at least 2 weeks prior
  • If you have used isotretinoin (prescription acne medication), wait at least 6 months before treatment
  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin

What to expect

During treatment

No numbing cream needed. Your provider works through a sequence of steps: diamond-tip exfoliation, ultrasonic pore extraction, hydrogen water infusion, targeted serum infusion with electroporation, and microcurrent stimulation. Most patients find it comfortable and relaxing. Sessions run 45 to 60 minutes.

After treatment

You can go straight back to your day. Some patients notice mild redness for a few hours. Worth knowing: if you are treating active acne, your skin may look slightly worse after session one as congestion is drawn to the surface. This is the treatment working, and it settles with subsequent sessions.

Results timeline

Most patients leave with noticeably brighter, smoother, more hydrated skin, and results keep improving over the next few days as the skin responds. A series of 3 to 6 sessions builds lasting improvement in texture, tone, and specific concerns. Monthly maintenance keeps the results going.

It Depends

Can be valuable - but results, value, or fit are more dependent on the patient, concern, or treatment plan.
