Payvand Kamrani

Dr. Payvand Kamrani is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained cosmetic dermatologist. She holds a BS in Biological Science from North Carolina State University and went to medical school at PCOM in Philadelphia, PA, followed by her dermatology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She then completed a laser and cosmetic surgery fellowship in San Diego, California.

She is part of the three-dermatologist team at Aesthetic Solutions in Chapel Hill, NC. She has lectured at dermatology conferences both nationally and internationally. She is active in research with over 35 peer reviewed publications and participation in over 15 clinical trials. Her research interests are in lasers for cellular senescence, facial and hair changes in GLP-1s, aesthetic treatments in menopause, lasers for hair loss, and cosmetic retention.

She practices in both general and cosmetic dermatology, focusing on natural results, healthy skin, and subtle enhancements by blending both medical and cosmetic care for a comprehensive treatment. Outside of clinic, she has been involved in medical mission trips to Ghana and Guatemala.
