Molly Katz

The three major injectable manufacturers, Allergan, Galderma, and Merz, all send their injectors to be trained by the same person in Nashville. That person is Molly Katz.

She's a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) at Brian S. Biesman MD, where she's been since March 2011, and a Certified Injector Trainer for all three companies. She's also a preceptor in the Vanderbilt University Oculofacial Plastic Surgery fellowship, surgical first assistant on Dr. Biesman's cases, and a sub-investigator on the clinical trials that run out of the practice. Her nursing career started in 2007 in pediatric cardiology at Vanderbilt Children's, then critical care at Centennial, before she moved into aesthetics.

She brings a trainer's attention to every appointment: the small angle correction, the pulled-back dose, the instinct for what not to do that you pick up from teaching it to other people every month.
